Maximum storage DELL R300

Hi guys,

 

I just got this Dell Poweredge R300 with no raid card it has 3x SATA600 but i dont know the max disk size.

I was planning to use 2 8TB drives in raid 1 but i wanna make sure this server supports it.

 

If it is only 1-2 TB can i put a SATA controller in that can handle 8 TB?
