Windows install not running?

I've just built my new PC

Ryzen 3600

MSI B450 Tomahawk Max

16Gb ram

RX 580 (Temporary)

The issue is, I've put my windows installer USB in and it boots up to the windows logo but just hangs on the logo itself

Hello,

Try to remove one of your memory module and try again.

Did you check if you have latest BIOS

What is speed of memory. You may have a problem of compatibility. But this is just a  guest

So the DDR4 memory speed is 2400mhz which should be compatible

Now the screen just blinks like this with the underscore blinking top left

Just to rule out the simple stuff, try to re-create the USB drive, or try another USB drive.

I agree, and reset your UEFI settings to the default and then try to boot from your USB stick in UEFI mode.

Thanks guys, I tried a few things. Idk what fixed it but I removed 1 of the ram sticks, tried removing the hard drive and putting it in a different data slot, downloading the installer again and something fixed it!
