So im fianlly working for my new pc! I mainly do video/photo editting (after effects, vegas, photoshop & 3dmax) and of course gaming!!

i have a budget of 1400-1500 (Australia), because i need to buy new peripharals and a new monitor

i was thinking....

 

i7 3770k

AsRock Extreme 4 Motherboard

Samsung 840 128gb SSD
EVGA 660ti
NZXT Phantom 410 Mid Tower Case
PSU 500-600w
Corsiar Vengence 16gb 2x8 1600 RAM (wow ram prices have gone up!!)
Corsair H60 Water Cooling System
ASUS Xonar DSX

Corsair Air Series SP120 Quiet Edition Case Fan

 

 

I think thats it, please tell me what you think, im still a noob :)

Why would you get a great CPU and only go with an H60 you might as well go with a very good Air cooler. I personally like either thermaltake water 2.0 exstream or Corsair H110. Either than that looking good, Also are you going to have any Mechanical Hard drives?

Im thinking Haswell will be out of my price range :(
Again id love a H110 but $ :(
And i recently bought a 2 tb hdd

I think it looks good! Get a proper PSU like Seasonic or Corsair.

Current build: Antec P180, Asus P8Z68 Pro, Intel i5-2500k, Asus GTX 570 2GB, Patriot 16GB 1600MHz, Corsair HX 650W.

The HX and AX-series are the best from Corsair. Cost a bit more than CX for example, but much more reliable.

I like it.

But just a pointer: My friend is doing a lot of 3DS Max and he said that a 120GB SSD is not big enough (don't remember why exactly)
