Does Asus Prime A320M-A motherboard need cpu for bios update

 

Roses are red

the sky is blue,

Nope, mobos with bios flashback for AM4 boards will allow you to update the BIOS without CPU/RAM... similarly for some intel boards.

 

OP, unfortunately yours isn't one of them, you need CPU to update BIOS.

Plus I have a board that allows this myself. b450tomahawk if you actually want to educate yourself instead of trying to tell people they are wrong about a subject you obviously don't know about.

For boards that DON'T have bios flashback of course. SOME boards do however, yet you were saying it's impossible.

helped now I’m using msi b450 gaming plus
