Is my Windows USB useless?

Go to solution Solved by Master Disaster,

Yep. My uncle has one and I've tried everything including a Low Level Format, never found a way to format it so far.

I bought Windows 10 many years ago and I got a USB installer in the box. Now I wanna install Windows 10 and figured I might as well format the USB and put a new iso on it so I would avoid lal the updates.

But the item is write protected and I cannot format it?

I just want to use their product to install their product. I tried many methods to remove write protection but they don't work

Really, though. You are hardly paying for the installer USB anyway. Its the license key you are paying for. Besides that, if you go and write to "Windows" you will sound like an idiot and they will ignore you. Windows is product, Microsoft is company developing it.
