Nvidai & Amd in same system.

Go to solution Solved by miyabwah,

You could use it for F@H. There shouldn't be any performance difference. You wouldn't need a monitor to be plugged in.

My questions are :

Would it be worthwile to put my old gpu in the new setup?

Would i see any proformance increase or would it just hinder my new pc?

Would it need to have a monitor pluged into the old card or would it be better not to?

I am NOT looking to do sli/crossfire. I just want to know if putting the old card into the new system would be benificial.

New System:

i5-4430 CPU 3GHz

16GB RAM (2x8GB)

GTX 670

Very Basic Setup:

2HDD

Fan Cooled

Stock Clock on EVERYTHING

Dual monitor

Old GPU is a AMD "MSi-Ati HD 3400"

CPU: i5-4430 @ 3.0GHz RAM: 16GB GPU: GTX 670
ASRock Fatality H87 Performance Win 7 Pro
