Thinking about switching from PIA to another VPN.

BTW What is viceVPN? Is it good or is it just a sketchy as the new tunnelbear?

On the rare occasion I need to use a VPN, I normally use NordVPN . I haven't had any problems with their service.

no, PIA is bad now. They recently sold out to a shady company and LTT has dropped them. I believe it was explained in a WAN show sometimes in the last month or 2.

Last time I checked was that they are on hold until PIA explains themself in details. And he still uses it.

Problem is that nord kept it quiet and didnt tell anyone that a breach had occurred. In this day and age, you can bet your bottom dollar that everything will be hacked at some point.. its not a question IF, but WHEN...

could be.. I remember it was recently addressed within the last month or so, dont remember 100% but thought they said they were stopping the advertising of it and support until they get more answers.

About the video.. I’ve seen it being shared a couple of times but it really seems bias and I don’t get why ppl are sharing it. The video is based on the techcrunch article, but ppl tend to forget that it is actually owned by Verizon (which has a vpn service of their own). While yes, the Data Center in Finland fucked up, but it was really minor compared to the shit NordVPN gets from ppl. I’ve read a couple of articles that showcase how much “damage” this breach did. For example, in here , “NordVPN users have not been compromised by an attacker gaining access to one expired TLS key for a single server in Finland.” The article itself is worth reading, it covers the events in detail, without taking any sides (which is rare, as everyone tries to jump to conclusions)
