Might of messed up BIOS update

I never updated my bios (MSI b150m arctic ), until now

i downloaded the latest update, went to m-flash and updated it. It went to boot windows, and then it said “repairing errors” and then it said “could not fix errors”. I clicked on advanced options and boot windows again, and now it’s been booting for around 15 minutes (normally takes 20-30), but there seems to be a bright red light right next to the top PCIE slot (there seems to be no name next to it)

 

 

did I mess something up?

Check your BIOS settings. BIOS updates usually clear CMOS.

Well, I ended up booting into windows either way, but this red light is still on

You're fine. If it gets as far as Windows having a go then BIOS is working. But like @Levent said clearing CMOS may help. You should always clear CMOS after a BIOS update anyways.
