RAID questions

Assuming the only data I had on a RAID0 array was "primarily " games which are easily downloaded again via steam, uplay, etc. And I backed everything up to external storage. Would RAID0 be a viable option.

Viable in that it would work, yes. You won't get much, if any benefit from RAID 0 for games though.

What is the best configuration to utilize then? I've noticed on the new build I just completed, that in raid mode it boots significantly faster than the other option the name escapes me. Something like ahci ?? Anyway I'm down with whatever is gonna work the best. I'm running an m.2 1tb Samsung evo plus for OS and my most played games. Just ordered 2 seagate drives for bulk and less used or less demanding games. 1 is a 4tb barracuda and the other is a 2tb firecuda ssd/HD hybrid drive. What is going to work the best?
