I actually cry for help here. My xfx psu died within two months of purchase and after contacting xfx i sent it back for repair and replacement. When i first contacted i was struck by how rude the representive was and he told me i had to pay shipment and import taxes (thats something illegal to force the customer in the eu) So i told him about it hoping i would scare him off and i could get my psu back earlier and cheaper but i paid for it anyway. Fast forward to now its been two months since its been delivered and by this point xfx ghosts me and i dont know what to do. Im broke AF at the moment and i need my pc running so i can work. HELP

In the EU after sales service should be handled by the seller, if you want to go straight to the manufacturer and this means shipping outside the EU then it's normal to pay the shipping.

Would have suggested just returning/exchanging the PSU to the store. But dealing with chinese warranties was always going to be questionable, Can always search around for free PC hardware or something, no idea what else you could do.

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

Most likely everything is being done  by the cheapest shipping method on their end, which is probably why it's going to take forever.

Is selling blood plasma a thing in the EU? Could always do that for some extra cash.

Is there anything i can do to pressure them to send me a replacement or something? As far as i understand the situation since they received and validated that the problem is on the psu itself  they could just send me one from their werehouse in the EU and be done with it, i dont understand the reasoning behind all this.
