RAM Compatibility Help

Go to solution Solved by Bombastinator,

I don’t see any differences in the screens so if they’re not it’s going to be about something different and specific to those models.

If I had to pick something that might go wrong motherboards sometimes have a list of “supported” memory types in them and will automatically optimize for that brand/model of memory.  Your computer might automatically change some of those settings (or the one on the internet did) when the memory is inserted

I'm planning on doubling my laptop's RAM but I cannot find the exact stick I already have anywhere online.

Could anyone please tell me if the two are compatible and will work in Dual Channel, please?

Sorry for the quality, I just stole it off a review.

Thanks in advance!

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Life is like a bowl of chocolates: there are all these little crinkly paper cups everywhere.
