GTX 1660/Ti or Rx 580

My cousin wants to upgrade from his GTX 960 2gb to one of those two. He uses i5-4460 3.2GHz and 8GB ram. Which one of those is better choice, or do you think there is better upgrade? His budget is 300€. He found black friday deal on gpu so he thought to upgrade.

1660 super or rx5700

1660 super performs the same as 1660ti. grab which one is cheaper.
