Buying a new GPU

I've been looking for new GPUs i currently have a GTX 1050. I have a few questions. I've never heard of the brand XFX  and other wierd brands on newegg

are they good or reliable. Should i stick to the GTX series or change to RX series ive heard bad things about the RX graphics cards but right now there are some really good deals on the RX 580's and 570's. Other than that given a budget of about $200 any recommendations for cards.

AMD cards are just fine. Have heard good and bad things about xfx- definitely better than Asus though

 

With that budget I'd get a 580. Sapphire pulse is a good option

I'd get a 570, 580 or 1660 depending on the deal you find. In the review I saw of the 1650 it was outperformed by the 570 and 580 significantly.

Make sure you’re looking at the “1650 Super” not the 1650. The 1650 Super is a slightly cutdown 1660 with faster memory. The regular 1650 is a pretty bad value, and out performed by the rx 570. I’m not sure why Nvidia made the names so confusing this year.
