ok  just found this on my pc

if i'll start it will it upgrade ma pc to windows 10?

or can i choose  drive to install it on?

You just found it? I wouldn't run anything I just find. It may very well be a virus.

It's filename is from 2016 ... that's 3 years ago Do you really think whatever this was is still valid and up to date?

 

Google says that file is "Microsoft Upgrade Assistant" and they give you a link to download that file from Microsoft : https://chefkochblog.wordpress.com/2018/04/15/windows-7-and-8-1-users-still-can-get-windows-10-build-1709-for-free/

 

But you don't need it, you could just use your Windows 7 serial to register Windows 10.

 

Better download that file from MIcrosoft instead of running that from your disk.

i downloaded it from the free program that microsoft offered 3 - 4 years ago and i forgot about it

i'm not downloading everything i see..

can i just register my win7 key and get the windows 10 installation?

and will it install on the drive that has my current windows?

Yes, If you want Windows to install another drive you will need to install a fresh copy of Windows or clone your existing OS to your new drive
