Hello,

I am looking for a cheap 1080p at least 60fps monitor with decent enough in built speakers for under £200. It will be used as a general monitor however I will be gaming on it using my PC.

I am currently deciding between these two.

however it is hard to tell between them without seeing them in person, I was wondering if anyone could help with my decision or give me any recommendations.

many thanks.

I've personally bought all my monitors second hand, and recommend anyone who doesn't want to buy the top of the line stuff to do the same. :)

I strongly recommend NOT basing your decision on whether the monitor has built in speakers or not.

There are cheap  speakers which sound way better than anything with integrated speakers can sound

For example, have a look at Logitech Z200 which is on sale right now, Black Friday deal at 16 uk pounds: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Logitech-Z200-Multimedia-Speakers-PC/dp/B00FSF2OSS/

Seems like you could easily lay them flat on one side, under the monitor edge, so they wouldn't take extra space.

Also have a look over the Black Friday deals for monitors: https://www.amazon.co.uk/deal/48ab5ad5/

There's a variant of that Phillips at 98 uk pounds : https://www.amazon.co.uk/Philips-273V7QDAB-27-Inch-Monitor-Speakers/dp/B06ZZV3QHL

You have this 144Hz IPS Asus at 165 UK pounds.. has audio output for speakers if you want to use hdmi to pass audio to monitor: https://www.amazon.co.uk/ASUS-VG248QE-Widescreen-Multimedia-80000000/dp/B00B19T7QC

1080p 27" 75Hz for 120 UK pounds
