Looking for keyboard and advice

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for a new keyboard, I am currently using this one, which I know is very cheap but it was the only chiclet gaming keyboard I found two years ago.

I hear people saying that mechanical keyboards are the best, but I've never tried one. The only thing I know is that I like so much chiclet laptopish keyboards for typing. I hate "feeling" the space between the keys, and I really need my peripherals to be silent because of my room mate. I usually game and type so that's why I don't go for a complete mechanical or a complete chiclet.

I want to know which opinions you guys have on mechanical keyboards and your personal experience with them, and if you have anything to suggest

If you like that style, stick with it. You don't need to buy what other people like.
