I am currently using an nzxt 510 case with two of the case fans pulling air and pushing it outside the case( rear fan and top fan) I added two additional fans in the front of the case and was wondering if it should be an intake or exhaust fan. I also have the hyper 212 black edition cooler facing the front of the case

Case is important here.  The front fans don’t pull air directly from the front but from side vents at the front.  There is going to be airflow reduction.  I don’t know how much though.

I personally like overpressure with filters because it makes for less dust.  IF there are filters on the side air inlets on the case front. AND there is a filter on the air inlet top fan, I would say make them inlet air.  You’d have an overpressure case and low dust.  You’d have to keep after the filters though as they will fill up.

If there aren’t any filters how much airflow you get out of those front fans matters more and I don’t know the answer.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Life is like a bowl of chocolates: there are all these little crinkly paper cups everywhere.
