Should I go with a Crucial MX500 2.5" SATA (~$85) or Transcend 220S NVMe (~$83)?

Even if I go with the Crucial SSD I'm planning to eventually have an NVMe as well but I guess it might be better to have a more high end NVMe compared to this Transcend one? i'm not too sure how much the quality changes at different price points in NVMes

The Crucial SSD is 500GB and the Transcend NVMe is 512GB

I'll basically use it for Windows, games, Adobe programs and the like

I know SATA SSDs are enough but this is an NVMe for the same price so I was thinking why not and if there's a catch

Where are you from ? There is maybe some at the same price and better than both of them.

does the m.2 use sata interface or pci interface? i might be using the wrong words here but an m.2 can use a sata connection and it will be just as slow as a normal 2,5' drive.

so check for that

M.2 is a PCIe interface.

wasn't there something about some m.2 using a sata connection even though it was a PCIe interface or sata bus? (one of thoose two)

because of a lack of pcie lanes on the motherboard, which meant that yes you had a m.2 but it wasn't as fast because there was only a sata conn/bus available

No it can be SATA too.  This was common in the early days, but less so now.  Your own link says this though:

I'm from Israel, maybe i'm just bad at searching but there aren't that many options

As for which drive to get, Crucial is a well known trusted brand, one I think of as second only to Samsung in terms of popularity and speed, which I think is for good reason, while the other brand is one I tend to think of as a bottom of the barrel, cheapest by any means necessary type, and with this can come poor performance due to all sorts of corner cutting possibilities like cheap controller, lack of DRAM, as well as poor reliability.  I don't know for certain if the unit you're looking at will suffer from any of these, but it's quite possible so I would be weary of it.
