Thermal Pads - GTX 1080 Turbo OC

So,  I bought Artic 1.5mm Thermal Pads and I'd like to know if they're gonna get the job done... Can you help me?

You cant replace paste with pads, they conduct heat so much worse. Paste is paste, putty is putty, pad is pad.

if you are padding the VRM or the Vram, then good, if the GPU die then no.

Im with the mentaility of "IF IM NOT SURE IF ITS ENOUGH COOLING, GO OVERKILL"

Yeah, just the vrms and Vram. The GPU itself I got Kryonaut for it.

Any pad will work. Cheap stuff or expensive stuff. Won’t matter as you nor the card will notice the difference. 

 

Should be more concerned about having the correct sizes to replace it all.
