Speaker Wiring help

Hey, 

I have 2 in ceiling speakers and I would like to connect them to my tv without a receiver. Is it possible? In the wall the cables are 1 rca cable(it's big and silver and not split into 3 colors) 2 hdmi connections and 2 sets of speaker wire. Sorry I'm new to this audio stuff

You'd need to trace the wires that feed those speakers to see if they feed into the wall panel you're describing, and then also ensure the speakers are powered. If they're not, you'll need a receiver / amplifier to drive them.

They need an amp of some kind, most TVs will not drive external speakers without one.
