Pump cover+top, need help

So I made a mistake in my build and bought a bykski pump/res combo and I've only realized now that is is alluminium so im pretty sure corrosion will happen (not sure how long it will take before it does, im running ek clear cryofuel) and before it does I want to replace this as fast as possible, I was thinking about buying that Heatkiller res and attach the pump I've got instead of buying a whole pump/res combo but that thing is pretty expensive tbh so i would probably be better off buying a new pump/res combo instead and keep this spare pump if the new fails.

Im using a o11 so was looking into distro plates as well but it seems none of them uses d5 pumps for some reason.

Is there any other pump cover+top thats not as a expensive as the heatkill? Or even a full pump/res combo, some silver looking stuff would be nice as thats the theme im mainly going for, no singularity computer stuff please, its expensive already and id still have to pay for shipping because I live in Europe.

Immediately.  It will attack the aluminum first.  Id highly recommend adding a corrosive inhibitor and call it a day.  

 

I build mixed metals aluminum copper loops, 2 this year on my third.  #science.  I use Prestone 50/50 premix antifreeze with Cor-guard (their patented corrosive inhibitor), however it doesn't mix with PETG tubing.  Im sure EK makes an additive to stop corrosion, or one of the other major manufacturers.

 

I recently cut up, and posted pics etc on LTT a mixed metals loop running 24/7 for 6 months - I cut open radiators, blocks etc - no corrosion.

Cryofuel is premixed coolant.

What do you think that means............

 

PS- adding ANYTHING to a premixed coolant is a horrible idea.

EDIT - good catch (I just reread what I wrote and it didn't come out like I meant) and probably a bad idea.  EK rebrands this stuff and reading the MSDS Im no scientist so I cant say to mix anything with it but its a very basic fluid based on the ingredients list.  To expensive for my blood with what you are actually buying

The original cryofuel was rebranded mayhems, not the new stuff.

Per the MSDS I attached its been manufactured by KIMI d.o.o. in Slovenia since 2017, not EK still (also a Slovenia based company).  KIMI d.o.o. manufacturs soap and detergents.

The mixture is designed by EK, they just outsource the bulk manufacturing.

Just like EK doesn't mine and process copper for their waterblocks, they buy it already made.

 

Not the same thing as rebranding.

Cant disagree, reason I love getting my copper blocks from China

 

I probably should have kept my personal feelings about their expensive water out of the equation - and after further digging if I was the OP, and this was the liquid he used he is fine.

That is the coolant im using and im sure ill be finne for a while but I still wanna replace it, corrosion will still happen, the coolant only slows the process, id rather have it swapped as fast as possible.
