Hello, I recently built a desktop and since I have built it I have had the periodic problem of it not booting. However usually when I shut it down with a force shut down and rebooted it would post and work fine. However today I tried that and it did not work. I have the X570 Plus WIFI motherboard and it has indicator LEDs that change during the boot process stages. It indicated that it was having an issue with the DRAM so I began troubleshooting. I unplugged both, tried different slots for both, it still wouldn't boot. Then I tried one stick at a time and found that it would boot fine with one stick but not two. Then I tried the other stick of ram by itself and alas it would not boot. So now I am pretty sure that I have a bad stick of ram. What do you think? My ram is the G Skill Trident Z Neo 2 sticks of 16 gigs each at 3600 speed. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

im very sure your correct on that bad ram, if the pc works with the one working stick and does not with the other then its probably the ram.

of course there could be other reasons but those are a little farfetched and its most probably the ram stick.

I agree. Return the RAM and get a new kit before you try other stuff.
