Hei recenty bought a Gigabyte x570 gaming x and a Ryzen 5 3600x and offcourse the rest off the parts to build a computer.

problem was chipset temp was in idle increasing to around 75-80 degrees like in windows. and inn gameplay i get randomly frezzes.

Called thec guys at where i bough the parts, told them about this temp and said i think maybe somethings wrong whit motherboard.

they replied yeah maybe motherboard or cpu. did have something called open buy in 60 days. ( can return it freely)

then found ut returning motherboard and cpu. then i get this pic from them saying i have broken the cpu socket.

I havent noticed anything when mounted cpu or unmounted it. wouldent it be allot more problems if this was the case?

When mounting and unmounting, everything feelt ok not allot of force to bend it down.

And after returning that shit i bought X570 Aorus and Ryzen 7 3700x and all temps good and no freezing.

But they saying i need to pay for that other card that i broke. :(

this is probably just me but i can't see where it's broken.

tell them that since you used the motherboard and you're returning it because of lag/freezes whilst playing games that the socket obviously wasn't broken (unless there were some pins that couldn't be read since the socket WAS broken when you got it.

do you have any pictures of the mobo before you put it in your rig?

and you can also say that it has been like that when you got it which might explain your troubles and they can't force you to pay for a product you bought that was damaged.

and on top of that i belive it's easier to break the pins in the cpu than the socket itself.

Gone search if i did take pic of it. If its broken or not i cant tell either and if it was broken i shoud maybe feel it when mounting?

I think this is just bullshit i dont know if they mean the gap on the socket or not.

Thats what i wrote back if i did so much force on it that it broke how are the pins then on the cpu i sent back? dont answear me on anything.

have you gotten your money back (or have you even paid, don't know how that system you have works)

if you haven't paid and they aren't responding to your messages then just stop trying to contact them, if they expect you to pay for something you broke they will want to contact you.

if they know it's bullshit then they won't try to force it since they could end up looking very bad.

if you have paid and haven't gotten your money back then keep trying to message them (don't over do it but make sure they don't forget it) and if they don't answer your tickets give them a call. Most companies always respond to calls.

Only have this pic.

in the future i'd suggest that you place as many things on the motherboard before putting it in the case (such as cpu cooler).

but if the socket is broken then you shouldn't be able to have the cpu mounted vertically

Yeah i know fitting everything outside is the best.
They dont answear the quastions i give them, they allready concluded that i broke it.

So now the only thing they ask me is if i want it in return or they gone recycle it.

They are realy look so far from pro that you can come.

and because i dident write any thing on the return they assumed i broke it.

But i talked whit your thec guy on phone and he told me to do it this way but dont answear to that either.

the socket probably got broken during shipping, here is a little advice, Always search the products that you bought online for any issues before using them, otherwise they may say you are the cause that happened, So I recommend you go to a REAL Hardware store so that you can look up and search what you are about to buy before buying it, buying online sometimes is like buying fish in the sea...

Yeah true, and they said we build 30-40.000 pc yearly and have never seen this before ;)

The socket in your first pic is definitely broken. No, it does not take a lot to break an AM4 socket, it is quite easy, either by over-tightening the cooler, or by pulling it out together with a CPU.
