Msuni

So i currently have an MSI z370 a-pro motherboard, would buying a more expensive/better/newer motherboard increase my performance?

Not really, only something like 3% at most, probably not even that. Overclocking is a far better way of getting more performance, but obviously, that requires an overclockable CPU.

Only if your current board's powder delivery is limited your CPU

If not, then not really any different

More expensive motherboards are just added features like WiFi or Bluetooth and USB C and quality VRMS.  Like WereCatf said 3 percent at most.
