Hi,

So I just upgraded from a 2600 to a 3600. I had been using the 2600 for a year with no problems, everything was perfectly stable and temperatures were well under control.

Now that I'm using the 3600 I can constantly hear my CPU fan spinning up even when I'm just doing basic tasks like browsing the Internet. I have attached a graph that shows this. Everything just seems to be constantly jumping around and causing temperature spikes.

I have a clean install of Windows 10 with the latest AMD Chipset drivers. I'm using Ryzen Balanced power plan (I've tried Windows balanced too and it didn't help). My motherboard has the latest BIOS. I've used the stock cooler and also the 'Deepcool' cooler that I had been using with the 2600 (with no problems) and get the same result with both.

I know I could change my fan curve which would help with the fan constantly spinning up but I just wanted to know if this looks like normal behavior for a 3600? It just seems so different from the 2600, I never even noticed my CPU fan even while gaming with that.

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks
