G-Sync unavailable on GTX 970

Hello All,

 

Just purchased a new LG G-Sync compatible monitor but when I go to the nvidia control panel the G-Sync option is not listed.

 

I have tried the following:

 

1. Updated drivers to 441.12

2. Swapped out Displayport cable

3. Disconnected non-G-Sync monitor

 

According to this list

My card should be compatible with G-Sync.

 

What am I missing?

Gsync compatible is limited to Pascal, Volta and Turing GPUs. Your Maxwell GPU is too old and only supports native Gsync.
