Hello I decided to buy a Sapphire nitro + 5700xt a couple of weeks ago, and I'm having trouble getting randomly a black screen while I'm in the game or browsing i can hear background noise but i can't do anything the only solution is to restart my pc Then everything works ok, until after 20m-1h the same thing happens again and I have to restart the PC all the time, I get very annoyed while I'm in a game and it happens to me, since I bought the graphic I must be 3 times Upgraded to the latest AMD graphics drivers, but the problem didn't resolve, whatever I do black screen will always appear, I've tried to reinstall Windows 10 with all the latest drivers, and again everything happens. I wonder if this is the driver's problem or my card, any help would be great. anyone have the same or similar problems?

Probably not worth your time, but try using DDU and then reinstalling drivers

What's your full system spec?

Yeesh, just gave an option to try

Try a different PCIe slot. Do you have any other gpus you can test? Or another PC to put the 5700 in?

Jokes aside...

That card has known driver issues despite being very popular on message boards and YouTube and the like, I don't think it's a good buy precisely because of the actual support / driver issues it has.

I know,  it doesn't help when I say that... much... Well maybe you could try install a previous driver somehow,  otherwise I'd RMA honestly.

PS: also as already said,  if you decide to try another driver, use DDU *in safe mode* before,  it does help sometimes with these problems as your installed drivers don't get actually fully removed by the installer software and as such may cause conflicts

The direction tells you... the direction

Hey man don’t try this until someone else backs it up but I heard if you change your pcie slot settings in your bios from auto to gen 3 it fixes this. To be fair I tried this and it didn’t fix my similar issue and I had to reset all my bios settings to undo it. I have heard it works for other people. I get periodic black screens but not very often
