So i have done some research about overclocking for the past year or so, and tried with a few different pc's now. And my main one is a bit weird now. So i got my ryzen 5 2600x cpu doing 4.1ghz stable and used the msi afterburner auto oc on my 2070 windforce. Got like 260mhz on core and i put 400mhz on memory. Pc works great and thermals arent that worse from stock. But when i go play any games i see literally no difference in fps, i did firestrike test and got significant increase in points. So what could be this "bottleneck" or something that i dont get any more fps in games.

it could be many things... What games are you playing? You could have a CPU demanding game, which hits only few cores so your GPU doesnt get to go ham on it. Also might sound stupid but I gotta ask - did you turn vsync or whatever other fps limiters the games might have off?

RTX 3080

Dark Base Pro 900

How do you monitor the FPS in game? Did you make a direct comparison by graph. The difference could be so little, that you can't tell the difference by just observing the game and FPS counter.

I used the steams own fps counter, i got a 144hz monitor and i use v-sync. Because the monitor does only have freesync. Anyways ive played monster hunter world, and when i log in and havent moved at all i tested the fps, and there was no difference. Btw i also have 16gb 3200mhz ram and i dont think thats the thing. And the fps in the game i get at the place where i log in is between 78-80.

You should test FPS without v-sync :)
