But i want to overclock it a little more. Like to 4,7 or something. Is this posseble without getting bluescreen?

what cooler are you using and what motherboard do you have? these things will help a lot.

ok then. the first thing you need to do is set the voltage to manual and go for a voltage you are comfortable with. looking at your temps start with 1.3v. the increase the multiplier by x1 and test it for 10mins, the increase it by 1x and repeat until it bluescreens or doesn't boot. then increase the voltage by 0.2v and try and boot at the same clock as it blue screened at on 1.3v. once you've done that well go from there. you should be looking at 4.6-4.8ghz at that voltage but you'll have to test it. the max you should go to is 1.4v but don't let your cpu go over 85c on the hottest core. if it does that then lower the voltage and the clock a bit.

By increaseing the multiplier by x1, Do you mean from 4,3 to 4,4?

can you take a picture of the the whole screen so i can see what each of the things on auto are because i'm not too familiar with asrock bios

thanks that is perfect. where it says cpu voltage and offset mode, can you change it to manual set it to 1.3 v, disabled turbo boost, speedstep and spread spectrum as well change the all core to 44, then test it with prime 95 for 10mins and report back :)

Manual isn't an option. There is ( Auto, Offset Mode, Fixed Mode)

just leave it for now then. hopefully it will just realise that its useless and not do anything :P. if you've set everything else up ok go ahead and test it

Well.

1st boot. Opened prime95 and all that. 10sec then i got bluescreen.

2nd boot. 1sec in the desk and bluescreen

That isn't good, right?

1,32v wasn't an option. So i took 1,35v. 30sec into the prime95 test:

Core 1,3,4 was running 100% but with only a temp at 50-60 Degrees.

Core 2 wasn't running at all.

And then it froze and bluescreen.

That is strange. Put i back to how you had it to start with. It sounds like something is not quite right. 4.4ghz is really low for a sandybridge. I would see if there has been a bios update for your board and then try again.

yes. If you have cpuz then you go on to the mainboard tab and it should tell you what bios version you have. Then you can type in the exact model and make of your borad into google and there should be a link to your board on asrocks website. Once you are on there website you will need to look for bios downloads for your board. Then you will need to compare the bios versions on their website with the version it says you have in cpuz. If there is a newer one you will need to down load it and then put the file on to an empty usb stick. You then have to plug it into a usb2.0 port on the back of your motherboard and then restart and go back into the bios. You will the need to look through the menu's in the bios and find one that says flash/update bios. You will then need to follow the instructions on screen. I would recommend you watch a video on youtube of how to flash a bios on an asrock motherboard before you try it though as it might be tricky.
