My current pc is a mix of old and new parts from the past few years ranging from some ancient Samsung HDD to a LC Vega 64, but this really isn’t working out too well with FL Studio hitting 100% CPU usage and games such as Escape From Tarkov struggling to get past 75FPS. Below are my current specs and then what i hope to get out of the new build. Only part I for certain will be keeping is the LC Vega 64 as it clocks to 1788Mhz (apparently a high bin compared to most?).

Current Specs

CPU: Intel Xeon E3-1231 V3 3.4Ghz 4C8T & Intel Pentium G3258 5.2Ghz (only for when single core performance is super important so very rarely)

CPU Cooler: CoolerMaster Nepton 240M

RAM: 2x8GB (16GB) DDR3 1600Mhz

GPU: AMD PowerColor Vega 64 LC 1788Mhz

MOBO: Asrock B85 Pro3 & MSI Z97 Gaming 3 (used to use this board but had problems)

PSU: Corsair TX850M 80+ Gold

Storage: 1xSamsung HD204UI 7847Hrs On (taken from a server 6 years ago), 1xSamsung 860 EVO 500GB 4350Hrs On (brand new from 2017)

Case: Phanteks P400s TG Black/White

Preferred New Specs

(NEW) CPU: AMD R9 3900X

(NEW) CPU Cooler: AMD Wraith/Spire/Stock and then later something from Corsair???

(NEW) RAM: 2x16GB (32GB) DDR4 3200Mhz

GPU: AMD Powercolor Vega 64 LC 1788Mhz

(NEW) MOBO: Asus makes some good looking stuff???

PSU: Corsair TX850M 80+ Gold

Storage: 1xSamsung HD204UI 7847Hrs On (taken from a server 6 years ago), 1xSamsung 860 EVO 500GB 4350Hrs On (brand new from 2017)

(NEW) Case: Something from corsair in ATX???

I have also been looking at custom cables so they are an option and hope to water cool the build so support for this is important. I use the PC a lot for music production and streaming so the pc needs to have some grunt in multimedia workloads and not just gaming, however I’m trying to not drop below 75FPS at 2560x1080 so whatever can do that would be good. My budget is around $1500AUD or $1035USD but I am earning enough to wait a week or so to get enough for a better part. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I assume aesthetics are relatively important here.

As for case, do you know specifically what you like? If you don't, I can give you a few options to choose from(pictures added below), ranging from minimalistic to aggresive to plain showcase-style cases.

For AIO, Corsair is a pretty good choice. The choice will be based on your case choice

As for motherboard, do you want it to be fully black + RGB for example?

Unless you know Vega is gonna assist your workload (and they are solid workload cards..) I would grab a 5700 XT.

I am not a liquid cooler guy, the MA620P is probably the top of the air based RGB pile. If you are an AIO guy, this is a well priced unit.
