MSI B360 PRO - Won't post with M.2 installed

Baterka

Hi, my dumb sister turned off PC by unplugging it and now it won't post unless:

1) I remove m.2 ssd from system

2) I hard-restart BIOS by shorting battery

When I do 2) system boot normally but on next restart its same... It wont even post... Just lagged on black screen, no output...

Any ideas what happend?

If nothing fixes it, you can remove the battery, so you wont have to short it every time, althaugh this will make the time go everythime you unplug. Try reinstalling windows

I am trying to find the problem :) Not have pc boot always. Reinstalling Windows is my last option, because it will take long time to do it

You can keep your files and programs. Just reinstall system files

@Genwyn Since the PC does post when the CMOS is reset, it seems like this is a corrupted windows disk image, which may not want to post

It is posting but only with clean bios restart. Maybe something with fastboot?
