its between the rtx 2060s and rtx 2070s.. 

 

when it comes to VR im less sure of the exact performance they output, but it should be similar.

I know in regular non VR gaming the 5700 xt is better than the 2060 super, but in VR they are very similar? Like how AMD has a bad video encoder which is FAR behind Nvidias, is it the same case here?

General gaming peformance translates directly to VR gaming performance. Its not like the whole video encoder thing. Non-VR or VR games are almost the same rendering wise.
