Price range is 600-700 AUD wanted peripherals but I dont think that will be possible at that price.

Ryzen 2200G, Adata su 630 480gb ssd, Kingston hyperx 8 gb x2 ram, Gigabyte B450-S2H, Cougar mx330-ste500 with 550w psu

Parts above cost 520

Will be paired with RX 580 170-200 from ebay, 1080p gaming.

Any advice or changes much appreciated

if your friend is willing to compromise, many games run at 720p with not much difficulty on the iGPU so instead of buying the rx580, add some faster ram and a HDD as some games these days are getting quite big and maybe go for a 600+w psu, also if the budget allows a 3rd generation motherboard

the reason for the changes that i suggested is so you can use the computer as a stepping stone

when he has a tad more money spare to go for a beefier GPU and a 3rd series ryzen (the 3rd gen Mobo)

Problem is iv gotta keep to a budget if it was me id be doing things completely differently saving money getting better parts so i can upgrade down the line and such.

3rd gen mother boards are expensive as, id get a b450 higher model if i could
