File Explorer crashes

So I really need to transfer photos and video off my phone to clear up space. I don't know if I have too much, but when I plug in my Pixel Xl to windows, it takes a while trying to load all of it and crashes before it can finish.

You can just throw them into your google drive

May need to change the driver windows tries to load for the pixel in the device manager.

I would have to pay extra, I have like 80GB of pics/ video. How do I change the driver?
