Hello so i need help on wether i buy this laptop with this CPU or another laptop with a different cpu.

So which of these CPU i better for gaming and editing !? I needed a budget laptop thats why!

  • AMD A-9225
  • Pentium Gold 4417U
  • Intel Core i5-8265U (edited)

I need fast replies , please help me on this!!

4417U will be better because of HT (aka 2 threads per core).

Purify your Windows 10/11, don't give Microsoft anything that you don't want to share.

4417U is certainly better. A-9225 is based on Bristol Ridge, so much related to the AM3/AM3+ CPUs and FM2/FM2+ APUs and is no match to the Kaby Lake Refresh CPU from Intel

The pentium should make the amd look dumb. Assuming you use the right ram speed.

i5 is gonna smoke them real good... I mean, 4 cores, 8 threads and decent turbo speeds (which may require undervolting and thermal paste change to something like Arctic Cooling MX-4) all day long against 2 core counterparts.
