I have quiet the strange problem with my laptop (Asus Zephyrus Ga502)

It often does not use its full power. Which means that even simple tasks like web browsing cause it to lag and load very slowly. (it did not do this when it was new) Sadly i dont know exactly what happened.

Also when the Pc is in this low-power state my Bluetooth mouse keeps on disconneting. This seems to be related but i dont know in which way.

Sometimes the Pc is using its full power and the fans ramp up loudly (which is ok). Then neither the mouse disconnents nor am i lacking power at all.

What i noticed: One time i startet the battlenet Launcher after i was away from home with my laptop and i had used it without the power cable (batterymode). Then it asked me whether my hardware had changed. Since then i have this problem.

I tried reinstalling my GPU Drivers and i chose the nvidia dedicated gpu in the nvidia control panel to be always used. I have the newest Bios.

Thanks in advance for any help

switchable gpu drivers usually are not universal , I'm willing to bet windows update overwrote the original driver the machine came with and now the laptop only uses the lower powered gpu instead. and or you just installed a driver from nvidias site and not the laptops manufacturers site which could have also killed off the switchable function.

I tried installing the gpu driver from the official asus website. No changes.

Furthermore i think that this is not a gpu specific problem. the whole laptop is just slow. easily identifiable when no fans are exhausting heat.

I still have no clue why my mouse is behaving like that when my laptop goes in this low power state
