SSD w/SATA2 ??

i have a SATA2 motherboard and im not sure whether to buy an SSD or will it just bottleneck so hard and ill be wasting its perfromance
the option for a SATA3 upgrade for me is a little bit hard so what do you guys think ?

Pretty sure it will still be faster than a HDD.

I'm running a ssd in a SATA 2 port. It's fine. It's obviously not as fast, but it's still a worthwhile investment.

ill be paying about 100$ for Kingston SSDnow V300 120GB
so is the 100$ worth it or should i invest it in a graphics card or just buy bunch of games

I'm running an SSDnow v300 in my SATA 2 laptop and the speeds are phenomenal. I would recommend investing in the SSD.

Stay away from sandforce trash (v300). get yourself a m500 or EVO. Sometimes u can get them cheaper than v300 too.
