Gigabyte Aorus x299e + 10980XE @ 4.8Ghz

This is a weird thread so bare with me.  First off Im sick and tired of these stupid benchmarks or stuff on the net how the Ryzen 16 core thrashes the 10980XE.  But dare forget AMD is near their peak Mhz while the 10980XE is benched at stock 3Ghz.  The 10980x loses in all benchies by a pretty nice amount.  Now imagine if those 18 cores were all at 4.8Ghz Turbo Boost 3.0 + better IPC compared to 9980XE.  People who wanted the 9980XE but somehow didnt get it just saved 1 thousand dollars + worse performance.  November 19th it comes out.  I will get it as soon as its out and I will Boost her to 4.8Ghz and run the benchmarks you have seen on the net and you will see AMD has nothing that can touch it except for a 32 core as I think the 24 core is beat.  24 core means lower clock.  Im not against AMD everyone.  Im stating facts.  Im still thinking to stick with HEDT and go 10980XE or say F it and get a 3900 or a 3950.  I need the quad channel 64GB of RAM.  Plus I dont need glits and glamoure my case is closed on the side no window and thats how I like it.  Simple and not bothersome when you wanna go to sleep.

Reading what you write is very hard, your English could use a good polishing, along with separating paragraphs.

That aside though, I'm personally interested to see your results. You'll want to document things like ambient room temp, TIM used, cooler used, fans and their placement, benchmarks and how long they're running, etc.

Thanks dude, defintely I will do all that you said down to the paste.  Speaking of which MX-5 or something else for paste ?  That part I dont know what is best now a days.  Ill have screenshots and content and it will really make sense and be easy.  Also gaming will be tested as well comparing my Quake Champions now , to how and what fps it brings with the CPU.  Right now Im avg 140 but do get dips to low hundreds but never double digits really.  So I mean Ill put the system together and see what my average is.  I know its a DX11 game but its very demanding.  Also the textures are really polished and detailed and lighting owns.  Next Ill do a RTX game and give results.  Anyhow all this talk, I can't wait, as I said earlier my PC has been messed up for 2 and half almost 3 years.. It gets no signal and crashes every day and Ive been dealing with it and gaming with it and running my DAW with it as it can crash no signal at any time,, on idle or load.  Not fun so these new 3 things mobo CPU and RAM I hope will bring me happiness that I dont have to worry about a crash while gaming or producing.

BTW, my old man 77 and going strong put together a 9900k for himself and as far as normal desktop usage or OS boot times or things like that are all the same as mine.  He had a Sandy Bridge 2600k and he says Premiere is soooo much faster and rendering is fast and everything is much much more snappier for him.  We got him 3200Mhz 32GB RAM and a Gigabyte z390.  Hasnt crashed once and does go to 5Ghz on cores loading and pegging.  But sits at 4700Mhz.  We haven't touched the BIOS in any way just fan curve.  Im gonna do some stuff on his rig like Aida benches as he has that but wont let me install any bench or stress app.  Plus Aida already has its stability test which is not synthetic like Prime95 and what not.
