Computer started beeping after a minor cleaning, doesn't boot up

AetherDUN

Hello guys, It's me once again, but this time, I have a problem. After a minor cleaning of the parts with a tiny brush just to free them out of the dust, I decided to boot up my PC, and what happened was new to me. The fan started to spin, it seemed like it worked, but then it started beeping, like "beep-beep-beep" and wouldn't start itself. The problem is that I only have an Aida64 file for the specs, but it's in Bulgarian. Please, I need your help!

Make sure all cables are fully connected. Unplug and replug if necessary. Also don't clean with a brush next time use compressed air because a brush can build up static

I did immediately think about post codes, but can't seem to understand with what I should decipher. And yeah, it's three beeps, all of them equal, then like 2-3 seconds it's quiet, and then it goes again the same way.

prebuilt or did you build it youself?

laptop?

incase you built it youself:

what is the motherboard "model"

example:

mine is msi h110m pro-vh.

It says in the motherboard what model it is, we will need that to find post codes. maybe even the brand will do.

Well, looking at the website ItzRuben send, it looks like my base 64K memory is bad, does that my RAM is dead, or is it a chip on the motherboard?

i found something.

Take your RAM out of your Mainboard as well as video card.

Then turn your mainboard on and you should heard 3 beeps

theyr saying video card and ram would cause 3 beeps.

see post below.

I'm going to try that out as well. Will update tomorrow, on whether anything has happened. Thank you!

i found something even better the official asrock bios beep codes

link

Without memory	|	3 long beeps

your memory (ram) is likely bad or something.

its not a motherboard chip. Im somewhat sure about that.

Of course that is a possibilty, but i kinda doubt it.

That might be due to the fact I had taken it out to clean it, and then put it back. This is going to be the first thing to do! Thanks once again!

I had this problem once too, it was due to some dust in the cpu socket. If reseating the ram doesn't work maybe try taking out the cpu and dust out the socket..

Well, after conducting some experiments, i concluded that it's probably the RAM that is not responding. Why, you might ask?  Well, because i took out the ram and it was still beeping 3 times. And when its in, it was dtill beeping. But then, I noticed it wasn't fully in the socket! And now my PC IS WORKING! Thanks guys, I'm really thankful to you for your support through this strange journey!
