1070 or 1080?

I currently have a 1050 ti and want a used card from ebay and sell my old one. Should I get a 1070 for about $200-$220, a 1070 ti for about $260-$290 or a 1080 for about $290-$320 (All USD), and how much could I sell my 1050 ti for? I have a 1080p 144hz monitor and would like to play modern games at 1080p 144hz.

 

I have an r3 2200g and have 16GB of 3000MHz ram

Slightly ? More like a huge bottleneck.  The 2200g will bottleneck a 1060 let alone a beast like the 1080.  Why do we have a 9900k ?  That CPU is a turtle no phun and won't be able to drive the 1080... The 1080 will ask for juice and not get any thus it stays thirsty.

Get a GTX 1070. It's a much better value (looking at the prices you posted) than a 1070 Ti or 1080.

 

And if you're using a 1080p 144Hz monitor, a Ryzen 3 2200G will bottleneck any of these three cards (another reason why I recommend getting a 1070). So upgrade your CPU if possible.

1070 would be good enough for 1080p 144hz, and you could put the extra money towards a better cpu
