SSD isn't good, you can get much better boards for much less and you're way overpaying for the ram.

Are toshibas better than seagate or what is the reason? I'm just interested as I don't know so much about HDDs

Kind of, seagate is the worst performing out of the big companies.

This is an annual report of a data center, they report the failure rate of all the disk they using.

Annualized Hard Drive Failure Rates by Year

you can see that Toshiba and HGST (Hitachi) performing relatively better than seagate.

You can look that up as a reference.

I have both Toshiba and Seagate HDD's and they are both excellent. The two Toshibas are 1TB and 3TB and have been performing flawlessly for almost 3 years now. The 3TB Seagate I've only had a couple of months and it's pretty much the same thing. Just has a different noise when loading things up. Nothing to worry over by any means.

For the reason above, I have yet to have to use an SSD. I love HDD's. I HIGHLY recommend the Toshiba DT01ACA series. There's a reason its price has went up over the past couple years. They even stopped selling the 1TB version since early June and put the 500GB version at the price of what the 1TB used to be. And now the 3TB is around $80 to $85 instead of $70 to $75 that I got it at.

If you go Seagate, make sure it's a Barracuda.
