Launch to your bios and let it sit there for a while, while keeping an eye on temperatures.  Make sure all components are being detected correctly and are at the correct speeds.  It wouldn't hurt to get a spec list on your friend's PC.

Well said, also is the system overclocked ?  How long can your friend go without seeing a black screen crash.  If the background music or what not stops as well that is a physical hard crash and the system has stability issues.

Have him clear CMOS and see if the problem persists. It'll be a button either on the board or near the rear IO. If he doesn't have a button unplug the PSU, remove the CMOS battery, press the power button a few times, put the CMOS battery back in and plug in the PSU. See if that fixes it.

okey my bad! the sound doesent cut off. he can still hear me talking and stuff. vut the screen is black, and cant do anything

Ouch that is not good.  I had a feeling the sound would still be playing while in black screen.  Basically what is happening is the TDR and video card and OS are not working good with each other.  This is due to faulty hardware or incorrect BIOS setting.  Lets see if we can get into BIOS and put it all on defaults even tho well go back to it and put down his OC settings in BIOS.  I just want to see if its the OC causing this, if he is OCing for that matter.

If the computer isn't restarting and he's doing so himself then this sounds like purely a display issue. Loose cable/bad cable, bad monitor, video card related issues. Can you have him post directly in this thread so we can help him?
