Try clearing CMOs and see if that helps. If not? I’m out of ideas

I'm pretty new to pc building, can you show me how to do CMOs Clearing? Is the CMOs button the same as bios flash button?

Here is a video from MSI explaining it.

instead of a jumper, you can use a screwdriver to make contact between them (that’s what I do)

edit @Tony Dao

sorry completely forgot to add the link

Hi, so i try to clear cmos, even remove the battery but still no signal and dram led is still red. Could it be there is a problem with the mobo? Can anyone tell me what debug dram normally indicated?

Ryzen processors are quite finicky when it comes to memory. I am still dealing with that problem myself. My motherboard does not like G.skill RAM. So I have now tried to buy a Corsair kit for it instead... Only mine is more devious and wont start BSOD'ing until 8-10 days have passed.... But then it is also BSOD'ing every 5-10 mins. ?

The RAM kit you have, doesn't seem to be on the compatible list at MSI's website. So my first try, would be to see if you could return the RAM kit, and get one from the list of supported RAM kits.

Every RAM kit has product number. As an example, my Corsair kit is a: CMK16GX4M2B3200C16

On MSI's website: https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/support/B450-TOMAHAWK-MAX click the following:

  • Compatibility
  • Memory by RX-3X00 (When point it will show either Matisse or Picasso, pick MATISSE)
  • Paste the product number and see if it is tested compatible.

Okay so today I finally be able to test the board with different set of RAM borrow from a friend and it still doesnt boot, while the ram i have install on his computer still work fine so i guess the problem might come from the motherboard, I'll bring it to the MSI center tmr for the final verdict. But I still don't know what can cause this, I install everything right and don't do any damage to the board. Can it be electric discharge from the case itself because I think I get shocked once when touching the case
