MSI MPG X570 Gaming Edge WiFi - Help!!

Hi guys. I need some info about my motherboard for my build.

I bought the MSI MPG X570 Gaming Edge WiFi for the Ryzen 3700X. I saw a VRM test video on Hardware Unboxed. They used a 3900X on it. It performed really bad.

So my question is if I use my 3700X at Stock Speeds on this motherboard will I face any problems or performance issues?

MSI MPG X570 Gaming Edge Wifi is a shit board for 3900x. You better return it back for either Gigabyte X570 Aorus Elite or ASUS TUF X570 Gaming Plus Wifi for the 3900x.

I'm not going to question your motherboard choice, but if you have to stick with this one, you should be fine. The 3900X has a 105W TDP, while the 3700X has a 65W TDP. You could probably even overclock a bit with it if you wanted to.

they pretty much all violate TDP. TDP only mean something on GPUs.

Yes, but the idea is that a 3700X draws less power than a 3900X, even if both chips go above TDP.

I can't return it because the shop only sell MSI boards. And i'm not gonna use 3900X, i said Hardware Unboxed used 3900X to test this board.

I'm gonna use 3700X.

Nah man i'm not into overclocking. I just want my 3700X to run perfectly at stock speeds. Even if I plan to overclock it I'll buy a good motherboard after a year or two for it.

bad luck then since MSI has overall the worst X570 product line. Was about to say that the Asrock Phantom 4 AX model does everything the Edge can, fails in things the Edge cannot do, at a lower price with faster WiFi.

It's alright btw, even if you overclock since the 3700x only has 2/3 the cores of the 3900x
