So I am truly curious and I hope that Linus or his employees may consider helping in my much needed information. So I'm taking classes at Southern New Hampshire University and I'm a some what advid gamer and I also love messing with electronics and sound devices programming I remember when I was little that I had to type in the codes to run Prince of Persia off floppy  but no I'm using the strix scar 2 not too the line like I wanted with 2070 rtx but I did chose the 1070 gtx which is fairly decent I'm running on single channel 16 GB ram haven't purchace my second ram card yet I got 1 tb ssd and in got 2 tb sshd  I got the i7 procceser I need help with knowing how to and what I can to to get the coolest temp I mean it doesn't run really that hot but I'd still like to get lower temps and customize it so I get the most out of it ,and I wasnt able to get my video uploaded for the worst PC give away but I hope I've made an good first impression on you Linus and the team with my status hope you see it and like my setup            sincerely

whats your cpu temp like at idle aswell as under load?

what cpu-cooler are you using?

how are your casefans set up?

what case are you using?

also

what I7 are you using?

Can you please fill in the info that's actually needed to help you? Like what current temps are?

 

From just this I take that you have gaming laptop. This means that your options are fairly limited. Best thing to do is to re-paste coolers of it. There are no hardware upgrades to laptops. Default fan profiles are optimized for performance over noise. Meaning that you can't improve cooling by fan control.

 

Cooling pads were a thing few years ago, but I don't know if they actually help.
