Help with getting new RAM

Hey so i want to add 4gb more ram into my PC. I downloaded CPU-Z to check what type of ram my motherboard supports, and it says DDR4.

However, the ram i am looking at says 2400Mhz, but i have an NB frequency of average 3000 MHz.

Am i meant to get something higher or lower than my NB Frequency, or does it even matter, or is it talking about my DRAM frequency (which is about 1200MHz).

Well I dont rlly know if having a 2400MHz Ram stick is good, if its slower what would be a good amount?? The reason i chose 4gb is because i thought 8gb would be a lot more expensive but it seems that it is only £10 extra so i guess that ill get 8gb instead.

My CPU: i5 7400

Motherboard: Predator G3-710 (Acer)

Also called unbuffered memory. That's what makes server RAM incompatible with consumer parts.
