Hi all. Looking to upgrade my system but not sure what will increase my performance the most for the money.

Here are my specs:

i5 6600K OC @ 4.8Ghz

Asus Z170-A

8GB Hyperx DDR4 OC @ 2666Mhz

120MM AIO

Asus GTX 1060 6GB OC @ 1925Mhz

1TB WD Blue

2x 240GB SSD

EVGA 600W Silver

NZXT S340

Some Corsair fans (SP120+140)

I have around $150 that I’d like to use to get some higher performance. Any recommendations?

ram looks slow & hopefully its not 1 stick...

faster ram doesnt benefit your current system yet

may be a good monitor for future upgrades 1080p 144hz etc (eg aoc 24g2u)

Nope, 2x4Gb sticks. Monitor won’t benefit me because my system is used for flight sim so I get 40-55 FPS at best. I was thinking 7700K which will work with a bios flash. Don’t think it will be worth the cost as I can flip the 6600K for much.

3k mhz

i obviously meant 3000MHz

can we not play the "im more technical than you" game?
