Can you check Windows Event Viewer for any Dota 2 related error?

What was the problem anyway? Client cannot start? Crash to desktop?

Yeah that's probably the culprit.

Did you already do a fresh install of windows?

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

yes multiple times

Do you still have your old hardware? Or is this a totally new build? More than likely there is some problem with the hardware.

Is every bios up to date?

You could try running linux off a USB and running some games under there to see if the issue is windows.
