This problem with my PC has been annoying me for a couple days now so any obscure information that could help me would be greatly appreciated.

Firstly the problem came about when I was setting up my new Samsung SSD, I went through the cloning process and everything was fine, then I was told to shutdown, acsess the BIOS and change the AHCI setting.

This is a step that clearly should be very simple however for the life of me I can't acsess the BIOS, I boot up, get to the motherboard screen mash del, f9, f12 and literally nothing happens. I have tried all of the common methods of making this work with no look, these include using usb and ps2 keyboards, changing the battery, unplugging HDD,SSD,DVD drive putting in CD and USB sticks, shorting the CMOS, it feels like ive tried everything there is, however I still am unable to acsess the BIOS. In addition to this after the motherboard screen it's just black as I need to change the AHCI setting for the boot SSD so I can't actually acsess windows. Finally the problem of not being able to get into the BIOS hasn't just started, I have never entered the BIOS on this computer before, however I have never really tried to this level!

Motherboard - GA-G61M-S2PV

This problem is insanely annoying so any help would be insanely appreciated

Thank you all in advance!

Use the CMOS jumper to reset the BIOS and you should be asked to go into the BIOS or continue with defaults or something.

I did try that however there was no visible changes that took place when I booted it back up, is it possible that it didn't work? Should there be a specific screen that comes up showing that you have done it?

this motherboard has duel bios, so can you get the recovery to make it work?

When looking online and in the manual it appears that the dual bios processes is automatic, meaning that if one of them fails the other will boot up, however this doesn't appear to be happening.

So both the main bios and the recovery could have gone; Talk about bad luck.

No boot up at all, no matter what I remove or install! Yeah it's the GA-H61M-S2PV.

You do get the BIOS splash screen?

Then it blanks?

And hangs?

Have you tried pressing reset and spamming the DEL key?

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.
