Hey guys,

I am looking to build a new general purpose rig. I do some gaming, some Photoshop, some video editing. So an even mix of gaming and productivity.

My budget is around $2500 Taxes in.

I am in Toronto.

I already have a brand new SSD ready to go into the build and a couple other drives I use for storage. I also have a corsair modular 850W power supply that is only 4 years old and has been working great.

Here is the parts list I have so far: https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/user/davesousa/saved/#view=q4DgJx

Is there any obvious value or compatibility error's I am making?

I am new to AMD so but I think I got my compatibility correct.

Not a build question, but why do you need 2 high refresh rate, 1080p displays? Why not a 1440p 100+hz display?

I don't... I am looking to upgrade my monitors to something high refresh rate w/ Free Sync/G-Sync. I have 2 old BENQ GL2460's.

Do you have a better monitor recommendation?

I would say get one 1440p high refresh rate display and get another 1440 display for secondary. Or even just keep your current ones.

The VG271U is a decent, cheap, IPS, 144hz, 1440p display

You're waiting for Black Friday I hope?

Your build looks pretty decent. I wouldn't spend the money on water cooling but that's more of a personal preference thing.

I wouls skip watercooling and get high end air cooler

go with faster ram with lower latency if you can afford, try to get atleast faster memory.

i would go for a different case because that one has bad airflow and will cause high temps.
